LEARNING THE IMPORTANCE OF EMPATHY AS A MEDIATOR

December 19, 2024 – In person training – 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM  Cost: $150

Are you empathetic? Can you feel what your clients are saying without listening to their words? Can you understand another person’s perspective? This training will teach you the language of connection. When parties in a conflict feel understood and validated, they are more likely to open up to finding common ground and work towards a resolution.

As a mediator you will learn to listen to every aspect of how a person is communicating by connecting with something in yourself, leading to resolutions that respect the needs and feelings of all parties involved.

This course is approved by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution for 3 hours of continuing education.

 

MEDIATING ON ZOOM

January 31, 2025 – Online training – 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM  Cost: $150

This CE class is designed to ensure mediators have the skills to effectively and confidently mediate cases on Zoom. It will cover:

  • how to schedule a Zoom mediation with settings that adhere to confidentiality and neutrality;
  • how to obtain legally binding signatures electronically;
  • how to manage the platform during a mediation;
  • how to adapt the mediation process to the virtual setting;
  • how to manage communication and information sharing online.

This course is approved by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution for 3 hours of continuing education.
