This course is designed around the ‘5 P’s of Mediation’ book by Jerome Bailey and is designed to elevate your expertise in dispute resolution. This course is approved by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution for 3 hours of continuing education.

December 19, 2024 – In person training – 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Learning the Importance of Empathy as a Mediator 

Are you empathetic? Can you feel what your clients are saying without listening to their words? Can you understand another person’s perspective? This training will teach you the language of connection. When parties in a conflict feel understood and validated, they are more likely to open up to finding common ground and work towards a resolution.

As a mediator you will learn to listen to every aspect of how a person is communicating by connecting with something in yourself, leading to resolutions that respect the needs and feelings of all parties involved.

This course is approved by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution for 3 hours of continuing education.
