We present courses through a variety of methods including: lectures by experienced ADR professionals, video tapes, instructor demonstrations, student participation, group projects, written projects, homework assignments, practical skill exercises, student proficiency demonstrations, discussions, role-play scenarios and written evaluations. The teaching style practiced by JCA places an emphasis on “hands-on” skill development. Instructional materials and lectures comply with the American With Disabilities Act. The State of Georgia is one of a very few states in which individuals completing the prescribed course work can make application for registration as a mediator.  JCA is an approved training provider for this registration training and has been since the inception of the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution’s training requirements in 1994.
